Philip A. Duey
Notes: | American musician who came to the University of Michigan as Professor of Voice and Director of the Men's Glee Club in 1947. Previously he was a member of the faculties of the Arthur Jordan Conservatory of Music and the College of the City of New York. Professor Duey sang professionally 1926-1946. A recipient of a three-year Julliard Scholarship and with degrees from Indiana and Columbia Universities, Dr. Duey wrote most of the arrangements for the Club during his tenure |
